New Here?   No Problem!

We get it, church can be intimidating. It's a new place with all these new people .Maybe you're not sure what to expect. We've all been there. At Chris Memorial, we want your experience to be an amazing one. We want you to know one life-changing thing: God Loves You! The fact that God sent His Son Jesus to die for you is what drives all that we do. That's why we have two very different service styles with one big message. Jesus gives hope!

Here's what a typical Sunday Morning looks like:

  • 8:30am Service - Traditional Service - Organ Led

This is our more traditional church service. Music is led by the Organ and includes our excellent choir. This service has readings from scripture, various prayers, Communion, and a time of confession and forgiveness. All parts of the service are projected on video monitors to help you follow the service as it moves along.

  • 11:00 am - Modern Service - Band Led

This service is very laid back and is easy to follow along. Music is led by Drums, Guitars, Keyboard, and Singers.

Did we mention that we have childcare available if needed, but we love having the kiddos join us for either of our services.

  • Sunday School for all ages

We love to get together in between services to read God's Word and see how it can direct our lives and encourage us.  So from the youngest to the oldest - we have a place to learn more about God and His love for us in Jesus!

Kids meet in the church worship space at 9:45 am for some songs and teaching before they head to their age appropriate groups. Youth meet downstairs in the Youth Room.  Adults head right to their classrooms in our education wing.  There are classes in the Library, Rooms 5, 7, 8, and downstairs in the fellowship hall.

Questions?

No matter which service you check out, you will find a place to call home and caring people who will be there for you no matter what. We are made up of people of all ages from all over Chester County who gather to worship the Lord.

Through our school and other ministries we are committed to reaching out to our neighbors here in Chester County, as well as in the City of Philadelphia. We are very involved with Philadelphia Lutheran Ministries and are working together to make a difference in the city. We would love to have you visit us and experience the love of Christ! May God bless you as you visit the other areas of our site!
