SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY FOR ADULTS
9:45 - 10:45 AM EVERY Sunday! Join together with fellow members and guests in fellowship around God's Word. As we read and study the Bible's message together, we build community. All are welcome and we look forward to your participation!
OUR SPRING SESSION of ADULT BIBLE CLASSES:
1) LAW and GOSPEL (Location: Library): A classic of CFW Walthers, A Proper Distinction Between Law And Gospel has been updated in a new book called Law and Gospel: How To Read and Apply the Bible. Please join us as we study our Missouri founder’s most important work. Leader: Sandy Groff
2) TEACHINGS OF JESUS (Location: School Wing – 08): Do you have questions or problems with worry? Or prayer? Or your witness to those around you? Or with money and materialism? Or what it means to live a Christian life? Well, join us then as we go to the greatest Teacher of all and learn from the teachings of Jesus as recorded in Matthew. We know these teachings as the Sermon on the Mount. In these teachings, Jesus molds the will of His disciples to lead a life wholly for God the King. Join us as we learn these same lessons. 3) The Gospel According to St. Mark (Location: Fellowship Hall Kitchen Side): The course will focus on key themes and surprises that St. Mark employs in his presentation of the mysterious Jesus of Nazareth. Our journey will take us from the Jordan to the Empty Tomb, each step revealing more of Jesus for modern eyes. A sign-up sheet (clipboard) is in the Great Room to assist with planning. Those attending are asked to read the Gospel of St. Mark prior to April 7. Leader: Pastor Weldon
